Microsoft is implementing several pricing changes in 2025. Regardless of whether your organisation has a few or several thousand employees, these changes could impact your budget more than you may expect.

Key changes to Microsoft licensing
Pricing Decrease: Starting from 1st February 2025, Microsoft will reduce the price of various licences purchased in GBP by 4-6%. This decrease will take effect upon renewal of your licences. This adjustment is in line with current exchange rates, ensuring consistent pricing for customers across different geographies.
Monthly Billing Increase: On 1st April 2025, there will be a 5% price increase on monthly billing with an annual commitment.
How these changes impact your budget
To help you understand the impact of these changes on your business, we have split Microsoft licensing customers into three groups:
Renewals before 1st February 2025
This group of customers will not be affected by the 1st February price decrease or the 1st April price increase. Your pricing will not change until your next renewal date.
Renewals between 1st February and 1st April 2025
Customers in this group will benefit from the 4-6% price decrease without being affected by the 1st April price increase.
Renewals after 1st April 2025
Customers will benefit from the price decrease in February and will see a price increase in April.
